John M. Carroll is Distinguished Professor of Information Sciences & Technology at the Pennsylvania State University and the Director of Penn State’s Center for Human-Computer Interaction. His research is in methods & theory in human-computer interaction, particularly as applied to internet tools for collaborative learning and problem solving, and design of interactive information systems.
