Most people don't like to read, and they process images much faster than text. In an age of online documentation, infographics can help your audience to process information quickly and easily. We'll briefly look at the added value of infographics, explore the main infographic types (workflows, data flows, timelines, and conceptual), and provide tips and best practices for leveraging infographics in your documentation.

You'll learn how to apply visual language cues, simplify complex processes in a visual way, create interactive infographics, access free resources to standardize infographics, and promote positive CX.

With over 20 years' experience as a technical writer in Israeli hi-tech companies and a background in cognitive psychology and design, my goal is to make online documentation easy to find and understand, while promoting an optimal customer experience.

As a facilitator of infographic workshops and speaker on visual documentation, I’ve presented at tcworld and STC conferences on leveraging infographics in documentation, and Flare and FrameMaker user groups on template design.

My published articles appear in Intercom, tcworld and Medical Writing journals.
